The host began to be featured in other shows such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler also began working as an associate for The Tonight Show. Handler achieved her first big break in 2006 when she hosted her E! show. It was called The Chelsea Handler Show. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for 2 seasons. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have shown her stand-up comedy performances. She was named to host the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. This made her the second woman in history hosting the VMA's post Roseanne Barr.
